Suzuki R3 - PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM) membuat terobosan baru untuk meningkatkan penjualan mobil Suzuki, Suzuki akan meluncurkan multi purpose vehicle (MPV) baru. yang diberi nama Suzuki R3. Harga Suzuki R3 akan dibanderol dibawah Rp 150 juta per unit. Suzuki R3 ngin menyaingi Xenia dan Avanza yang merajai penjualan di kelas menengah.
Kabarnya model tersebut akan menggunakan platform dari Suzuki Konsep R3 yang dipamerkan pertama kali di India, awal tahun ini. Rencananya, prototipe ini bakal masuk ke Indonesia untuk pertama kali dan dipamerkan di International Indonesia Motor Show 2010, akhir Juli mendatang.
Konsep Suzuki R3 sangat modern dan aerodinamis, dengan harga dibawah Rp. 150 juta, Suzuki R3 tidak akan kalah bersaing dengan Xenia dan Avanza yang telebih dahulu sukses. Kita lihat saja konsep

The design theme for the Kizashi is “a dynamic athlete in motion.” In creating the Kizashi, Suzuki made a particular effort to express the car's prowess as a highway standout with large wheels and wide treads, expressing a capacity for high performance. A bonnet shape suggests abundant engine power, and an aerodynamic stance enables the car to cut through the air while firmly gripping the road.

News - Suzuki Bringing Kizashi 3 Concept to Production This Year

While the Kizashi 3 concept was an AWD car sporting a 300-hp 3.6L V-6, Suzuki said that the company has not yet decided what will power the production sedan.
What we do know is that the as-of-yet-unnamed sedan will be based on a GM front-wheel-drive platform and should share a good deal of its styling with the concept car. While Suzuki is looking to steal Honda Accord and Toyota Camry customers, the company isn't looking to build just another people mover. "We are taking a different approach. We will stress sportiness and handling," said Suzuki.
